Every year the French department
organises an exciting residential stay in France for all Year 8 pupils. This is
a memorable trip for the girls and provides a rich educational and cultural
experience. This year the trip will be from Sunday, June 18 to Saturday, June
24, 2017.
The centre we are visiting
is called Maison Claire Fontaine. They have been organising successful trips
for English schoolchildren for over ten years and offer a very exciting
programme. The girls will have intensive French lessons every morning of their
stay, followed by a wide variety of activities (with all instructions in French)
during the course of the day. Activities on offer include cooking, tree
adventures, kayaking, circus skills, sculpture, and many more. There will also
